Lebanese Minister of Public Works and Transport, Fayez Rasamny, visited the Association of Lebanese Industrialists and was received by its President, Salim Zeenni , and board members. The meeting addressed pressing challenges facing the industrial sector, including the need to expand existing industrial zones, establish new ones, and amend building regulations. Discussions also covered critical issues such as boosting exports to Gulf countries, enhancing port operations—particularly the use of advanced scanners at Beirut Port—and activating the Rene Mouawad Airport in Qlayaat. Minister Rasamny emphasized his commitment to strategic planning and merit-based administrative appointments, reaffirming that national industry remains a top priority. Both sides agreed to maintain regular dialogue and develop a comprehensive document outlining proposed solutions for further specialized discussions and action.
