Support Business Innovation and Enhance Exports for Lebanon (BIEEL)

On December 3rd, 2020, Fair Trade Lebanon and the Association of Lebanese Industrialists (ALI) signed an MoU under the Business Innovation and Enhance Exports for Lebanon (BIEEL) Project. The Project is led by Fair Trade and initiated by the Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI).

The initiative aims at creating an environment that enables business development and empowers 100 Lebanese SMEs and cooperatives by enhancing their competitiveness internationally.

Within the Project, Fair Trade Lebanon and ALI are working on the Export Bureau to accomplish a variety of activities that include:

Supporting, guiding, and informing SMEs and cooperatives on export procedures.
Organizing training sessions to ease international trade barriers.
Closely collaborating with all the Lebanese embassies and economic attaches to help exporters identify international needs and opportunities.
