Association of Lebanese Industrialists Participates in the International Labour Conference in Geneva

The Association of Lebanese Industrialists (ALI) took part in the 113th Session of the International Labour Conference held in Geneva, Switzerland, as part of the Lebanese delegation headed by Minister of Labour, Mohammad Haidar.

The Employers’ Group was led by Eng. Mounir El-Bissat, Secretary General for Foreign Affairs at ALI, and included industrialists Garo Loussararian and Patricia El Hachem, along with ALI’s General Manager, Talal Hijazi. The delegation actively participated in the conference through various specialized committees, including the Committee on Standards, the Committee on Transition from the Informal to the Formal Economy, and the Committee on the Platform Economy.

On the sidelines of the conference, the Lebanese team held a series of meetings with the International Organisation of Employers and the International Labour Office, focusing on enhancing cooperation, exchanging expertise, and strengthening the role of the private sector.
