The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, in cooperation with the Association of Industrialists, organized a workshop on “Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Solutions for Industrialists” at the Radisson Hotel – Ain El Mreisseh on 06/15/2022.
The workshop presented an overview of energy audits, energy efficiency and various renewable energy technologies, and it was intended for owners and executive managers of SMEs The meeting was attended by the President of the Association of Industrialists Mr. Salim El-Zeenni, the Regional Director of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Mr. Richard Jones, the Associate Director- the Head of the Lebanon Office of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Mr. Khalil Dighazli, the General Director of the “Lebanese Center for Energy Conservation” Mr. Pierre Khoury, the founder and CEO of OTB Consult, Mr. Nader El Hajj, and a crowd of industrialists and stakeholders.
The workshop was followed by a full day training for operational managers of SMEs at the association’s headquarters on 16/06/2022, and it offered detailed discussions and real-life case studies on energy audits and their implementation, practical energy efficiency measures, and technical aspects of renewable energies for industrial facilities.
