The Circular 2 Project concluded at the Mövenpick Hotel in Beirut, in the presence of Mr. Joe Issa El Khoury, Minister of Industry, along with representatives from the public and private sectors and international partners. The event showcased how the circular economy in Lebanon is moving from concept to practical application, creating new pathways for innovation and sustainability within the industrial sector.

During the event, Mr. Salim Zeenni, President of the Association of Lebanese Industrialists, emphasized that adopting circular economy practices is no longer optional, but a necessity to strengthen the resilience and competitiveness of Lebanese industries.

Meanwhile, Mrs. Souha Attallah, Industrial Development Expert at UNIDO, highlighted that the project’s true value lies in its concrete outcomes and transferable lessons, which can be scaled up and implemented across Lebanese factories, ensuring long-term and sustainable impact.
